Vivek Ramaswamy, the Indian-American entrepreneur, not only gained popularity but also financial support. Following the debate, he raised more than $450,000. According to a post-debate survey, 28% of 504 individuals claimed that Ramaswamy delivered the best performance. He was followed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis with 27% and Mike Pence with 13%. Notably, Ramaswamy, who transitioned from entrepreneur to politician, was facing tough competition from his three top rivals: former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, former Vice President Mike Pence, and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.

Vivek Ramaswamy, an American leader of Indian origin within the Republican Party, is vying for candidacy in the upcoming US presidential election. Born in Ohio, the 38-year-old Ramaswamy's parents were immigrants from India. He earned a degree in molecular biology from Harvard University and completed his law studies at Yale.
Ramaswamy initially worked as a hedge fund investor and had already accumulated several million dollars even before completing his Yale education. In 2014, he founded his own biotech company, Roivant Sciences (ROIV.O), which acquired patents for drugs that were not fully developed by larger companies. In 2021, he stepped down as CEO but continued as its Chairman until 2023. In 2022, Ramaswamy was also a co-founder of Strive Asset Management.
